In sharing her battle with illness, Jamie said she felt very blessed to have strong support from family and friends. |
From Jamie:
Happy Thanksgiving! I thank God to have friends and families like you to support me thru this battle! Jamie's medical update: With an introduction, I saw a lung cancer specialist at UCLA Medical Center, the doctor mentioned in addition to chemo, there are two additional treatments in the works proved to be effective, however, there's a processing time of at least 3-4 weeks. I noticed that my coughing has increased, so timing is of essence. I will be getting CT Scan and MRI of my brain (it's related to lung cancer) next week. Please help me to PRAY that 1) I remain strong and healthy 2) speedy processing time into these experimental treatments, 3) wisdom in bringing our foster daughter, Dena from China to visit me. I feel so blessed during this Thanksgiving season!
God bless,
Jamie
Jamie's best friends from elementary school came to visit her from Taiwan. This beautiful family of five, Pastor Ben and his wife Hope were our special guests last night. Pastor Ben and Hope who had just traveled back from Europe joined us on this special occasion. He reminded us that everything we have comes from God. The only thing we can give back to God is our gratitude--a grateful heart.
